Mac Miller was an American rapper and the ex-boyfriend of Ariana Grande. This was his 5th studio album and his last as he tragically died, aged 26, from an accidental drug overdose just one month after it’s release. It was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards and reached number 3 in the UK R&B Albums Charts. There are contributions from the likes of Snoop Dogg, John Mayer, and Thundercat.
I love it. It’s got some really synthy/funky bass lines throughout, clever lyrics and a silky rhythm. Its got a good chilled hip hop vibe to it so it’s great for background music. He performed tracks from this album for NPR Music Tiny Desk Concerts which you can watch here:

Mac Miller had such a talent and the momentum behind him was building at a fast rate. Just before his death he was rumoured to be collaborating on an album with Post Malone and apparently had already recorded some demos. Who know’s if we will get to hear what would have been at some point in the future. Here’s hoping.
My favourite tracks are Come Back To Earth, What’s The Use?, and Small Worlds.
